This darling pumpkin is almost too cute to burn. It is made from 100% pure beeswax with a rich honey scent, and a cotton lead-free wick.
This comes in two options:
Plain beeswax
Autumn pumpkin (a beautiful shade of orange. Due to the dye and that this is a handmade product, variations in color shades may occur from pumpkin to pumpkin)
The autumn pumpkin has added dyes that are eco-friendly and free from any and all harmful additives and ingredients like phthalates and parabens. Wild Oaks Apothecary approved!
This candle weighs a whopping 14 ounces, nearly an entire pound of beeswax! They make for cute centerpieces, fireplace mantle decor, or countertop decor, and would be a fun addition to your Thanksgiving tablescape. It measures approximately 4” across and 2.5” tall
WHY BEESWAX? Beeswax burns slowly and cleanly, without excess soot, and has been said to release negative ions into the air which may help to purify the air. The glow is warm and closely resembles the golden glow from the sunset or sunrise, which is healing for the eyes.
WICK CARE - Trim the wick to 1/2 before lighting. For best results, allow it to burn for 4 hours minimum each time you light it. This helps to avoid tunneling and helps the pumpkin burn to the edges. Pinch off the excess wick before re-lighting.
BURN TIME - Burn time is approximately 30-35 hours depending on maintenance. You will be left with a bit of beeswax around the edges after the insides have burned out. We recommend saving those scraps to melt down into a new candle, to make beeswax wraps out of, or to have on hand to make wood butter or an easy salve!
