Peri Spray

$24.00

previously called “meadow”

This botanical mist was designed as a perineal spray for postpartum healing. The herbs are known to be soothing, help promote healing and gently wash wounds.

They are astringent and help to pull tissues back together, and are known to promote healthy skin when used topically. The spray can also be supportive for hemorrhoids, rashes, or other skin complaints.

The herbs are each known for their soothing, deeply healing properties and may offer support during that tender postpartum season.

Those tender postpartum days can hold so much change and movement, so much joy and sorrow mingled together. We’ve lost some of the beautiful ancient practices that our ancestors used. I imagine grandmothers, aunts, mothers, and sisters going out into a meadow to gather beautiful flowers and bring them back to make into a soothing soak or spritz for a mama freshly postpartum, to weave them in her hair and shower her with love as she heals.

Postpartum is defined as a period of time after having a baby. As many of you know, I experienced 4 seasons of postpartum where I birthed but had empty arms. I grieved as my body processed the swift change and mourned the loss of my babies. I’ve also experienced postpartum, where I held living babies in my arms and worked through those emotions and that time of healing. Both experiences fall under the “postpartum” category. I wish I could be there to walk each of you through postpartum, through life, through the many joys and sorrows of life! I love the “village” aspect and long for each of us to have a village around us. This peri spray is my attempt at bringing a bit of soothing to each of you from afar. 🌱

SCENT PROFILE: The spray has an earthy and warm scent, with the helichrysum coming through first

INGREDIENTS: organic witch hazel (14% alcohol), calendula, lavender, marshmallow root, rose petals, chamomile, yarrow, gotu kola, helichrysum (all organic or wildcrafted)

TO USE: spritz on the skin as needed! It can be used as:

- A healing peri spray for after labor, or after a miscarriage, to encourage the skin to heal

- A facial toner

- A spray for wounds or scrapes

- A spray for diaper rashes or other rashes

- A spray for hemorrhoids

You can try:

Spritzing a bit on your baby's bum after a diaper change to help soothe rashes.

For use as a peri spray, you can remove the straw in the bottle so you can hold the bottle upside down and spritz. I recommend applying the spray after every time you use the bathroom. For use with hemorrhoids, apply after every time you use the bathroom.

The mist comes in a 2-ounce glass spray bottle.
