Masala Chai

$22.00

MASALA CHAI

Another yummy blend from Nicole at Dancing Fern Folk Apothecary! I asked her to create some cozy autumn drinks and she came through! This is the year-round version of her popular Autumn Chai.

This chai comes in an amber jar and has 2 ounces of drink mix in it, which is enough for around 16 servings servings depending on how strong you like your chai.

The mixture contains Black tea, cardamom, ginger, clove, star anise, cinnamon, and peppercorns. It tastes cozy and has a good anise flavor that comes through alongside the cardamom!

It comes unsweetened, so we recommend adding 2 tsp drink mix to 6 ounces liquid of choice (raw milk!) along with 1-2 tablespoons sweetener of choice (I love raw sugar, Nicole loves maple syrup!) for a cozy drink. You can add 2 ounces of milk or cream to give it that creamy taste.

A little about each ingredient:

BLACK TEA

Used for thousands of years, black tea is rich in antioxidants, helps to stabilize blood sugar, helps to gently aid in detoxing your body, and much more!

CARDAMOM

A fragrant pod that can help reduce inflammation, help support digestion, bring antioxidant benefits to the body, and help support the liver.

CINNAMON

A spicy tree bark, cinnamon can help reduce inflammation, support digestion, help improve gut health, and provide warmth to your body alongside other benefits.

GINGER

Often used as a digestive aid, ginger can help support digestion, gently warm the body, and help to ease stomachaches and pains. It can also help to reduce nausea.

CLOVE

Spicy and fragrant, cloves can help reduce inflammation, reduce bloating and digestive issues, and can provide antioxidants for the body.

STAR ANISE

Shaped like a star as the name suggests, this fragrant pod can help promote good digestion, help prevent fungal infections, and can support the body through stomachaches and sickness.

PEPPERCORNS

These spicy seeds can help reduce inflammation, stabilize blood sugar, and help your gut stay healthy.

  • As a little girl, I was fascinated with nature.

If you could peek into my past, you'd find a barefoot girl more comfortable when muddy, making mud villages, building treehouses, digging forts in the field, and crushing up flower petals to make perfume. I desired to be a nurse, or a doctor, when I grew up. My heart was always to help, to see a need, and to attempt to meet it. Keep reading here.
