ABOUT: 

Elderberry has traditionally been used to help with colds, fevers, and the flu. It works to help activate the immune system, allowing the body to fight off ailments.  Elderberry has been shown to help shorten the length of sickness when taken at the beginning of feeling sick. 

It contains flavonoids that stimulate the immune system. Flavonoids help to block viruses from attaching to host cells in the body. Elderberry can also help increase urine flow, bring down fevers, and gently purify the blood. The addition of honey can help provide medicinal benefits, soothe sore throats, and improve the flavor of the tincture.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: 

Elderberry is considered safe to be used by babies, pregnant women, nursing women, and all ages. Those with autoimmune diseases might want to start with a drop or two and see how their body feels, before trying larger doses.
